Keith Nash (Nashie) is a contempary abstract artist based in South Wales. Working predominantly with acrylics and texture paste, Nashie's practice explores the interplay between structure and spontaneity.

His canvases often evolve through the layering of multiple individual segments - each a self-contained narrative -culminating in a unified whole that invites immersive & contemplative viewing.

Nashie builds surfaces of texture & complexity of colour layering to create evocative designs often influenced by travel, the changing seasons & aged structures / materials.

He lives with his Wife in a converted 19th Century Chapel in Pen-Y-Fal,  Abergavenny which also houses his Studio.
